He is survived by: his mother Terry Jean Asby Shelton; his wife Lynn Dirden (Stroud); his children, Ashley Dirden, Brandy Newman (Joshua) and Jesse Dirden (Annie Cannon); his grandchildren, Jessie, Jaylon, Kailee, Kaylynn and Arya Jean; and his siblings, Ron Dirden, Nicole Asby and Scott Compton.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crain Pleasant Grove-Murdale Funeral Home - Old (31 Memorial Dr, Murphysboro, IL 62966). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
