It is with sadness that the passing of George Frost of Murphysboro, Illinois is shared. George, born on February 22, 1935, passed away on July 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Frost and Maggie Alice Provence; and his son Steve Frost. He is survived by: his children, Shelly Howe of Murphysboro, Deb Carter (Jon) of Washington and Randy Frost (Lisa) of Washington; and his grandchildren, Marla Turbett (Don) of Morton, Illinois, Holly, Heath, Blake, Brandon, Breanne, Nick, Quentin, Chauntel, Craig and Mason. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mooseheart, a charity that held a special place in George's heart.
