She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Sherman McPheron and Elsie McPheron (Bell); her husband Cecil W. Barker; her children, Doug Barker (Kay) of Lake St, Steve Barker (Cathy) of Evansville, Indiana and Kimberly Heiple (Mark) of Murphysboro; her grandchildren, Bradley Barker-Lype (Brian) of Wildwood, Bryan Barker (Samantha) of St. Charles, Garrett Barker (Alicia) of O'Fallon, Christopher Barker (Amy) of Evansville, Brandon Heiple of Pasadena and Courtney Ridgeway (Mark) of Pinckneyville; her great grandchildren, Austin Barker, Kyle Barker, Hayden Barker, Brooks Barker, Mila Barker, Avery Ridgeway, Laiklynn Ridgeway, Morgan O'Risky (Cale) and Nolan Alvey; her half-brothers, Dennis McPheron, Bobby Joe McPheron and Danny Ray McPheron; and her siblings, Wanda Sherrard and Sherman "Junior" McPheron. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
