It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joann Genovese of Murphysboro, Illinois, who passed away on November 30, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her mother Pearl Turner; her brother Bill Turner (Phyllis); and her niece Karen Hanor. She is survived by : her husband Joe Genovese of Murphysboro; her daughter Elizabeth Kiel (Robert) of Murphysboro; her granddaughter Brittney Pearson (David) of Pinckneyville; her stepgrandson Matthew Kiel (Natalie) of Florida; her great grandchild Ember Pearson; her niece Teresa Kuykendall; and her caregiver Susie Berkey. She is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
