It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Daniel Ball of Murphysboro, Illinois, born in Streator, Illinois, who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Kendall Rich and Delores Maxine Ball (Scheuer); his brother Terrence Ball; and his father-in-law Ron Hertter Sr.. He is survived by : his wife Jessie Ball of Murphysboro; his siblings, Judith (Tom Larson) and Rick (Joan Ball); his nieces and nephews, Jessica, Stever Albers, Amy, Ryan Pheiffer, Aaron (Laura Ball) and Kendon (Amanda Peterson); his mother-in-law Donna Hertter; his brother-in-law Ron Jr. (Jamie Hertter); and his pets, Gizmo, Sassy and Buddy.
