He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Denise Beavers (Kevin) and John K. Harland, Jr. (Karen Williams); his grandchildren, Aaron Beavers (Bridgette), Kenny Ray Rapp (Kirsten) and Kenya Regnier; and his siblings-in-law, Larry, Charlotte Dawson and Gretchen Dawson. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crain Funeral Home - Downtown Murphysboro (1421 Walnut St, Murphysboro, IL 62966). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at 137 Murdale Gardens Rd, Murphysboro, IL 62966.
