It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John L. Stroub of Murphysboro, Illinois, born in Marion, Illinois, who passed away on February 20, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Billy Stroub and LaCeena Stroub (Kerwin); and his sister Debra Stroub. He is survived by : his wife Paula Stroub of Murphysboro, IL; his grandchildren, Mykol Major, Makayla Brand (Alec), Mariah Becker Major, Alexis Stroub and Wyatt Stroub; his great grandchildren, Oaklyn, Mavrick, Lane and Beau; his stepson William J. Woolsey (Gwen) of Chester, IL; and his siblings, Larry Stroub of West Virginia, Billy Stroub of Steeleville, IL and Joanna Stroub of West Virginia. He is also survived by his 4 step grandchildren.
