He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Green and Nedra Green (Hanson); his stepson Kevin Green; his siblings, Lillian McKinney, Jackie McQuaid, Dorothy Wright, Robert Green and Richard Green; his in-laws, Tanner and Rosemary Burnett; and his brothers-in-law, Kenny and Richard Burnett.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Burnett; his children, Michelle McNeil (Chuck) and Beau Green (Christina); his grandchildren, Jami Blainey (Ryan), Becky Paul (James), Catherine Giles (Jacob), Alec Green (Kimmi) and Jacob McNeill; his great grandchildren, Alexander, Raylene, Logan and Maverick; his siblings, Arcille McDowell, Ruth Ann Scott, Ida Luketin, Tom Green, Wayne Green, Peggy Schott, Georgia Tincher, Linda Miller, Jimmy Green and Gary Green; and his sisters-in-law, Sharon, Barbara Burnett, Nancy, Chris Green, Junie Stevens and Laurie Wallace.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crain Pleasant Grove-Murdale Funeral Home - Old (31 Memorial Dr, Murphysboro, IL 62966). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM at the Pleasant Grove Memorial Park (31 Memorial Dr, Murphysboro, IL 62966).
