With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kay Lirely of Murphysboro, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Kay left this world on March 7, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Layne and Jenny Layne (Baker); her husband Ivan B. Lirely; her siblings, Fred Baker Layne, Mary Jane Crombar and Karen Emerson; and her great grandchild Knox Cassens.
She is survived by: her daughter Tamara Kay Weller (Tony); her grandchildren, Whitney Martin (Brady), Maxton, Garrett, Christian Weller (Sarah), Juniper, Munroe, Gabriel Weller (Taylor), Abigail Weller (Ryan Fitzgerald) and Eleni; her children, Traci Rene Lirely, Tieraney Craig (Josh), Brecken, Falynn, Tiffany Eaton (Brian), Kensen, Rinsley, Torie Cassens (Devin), Beau, Grizz, Todd Layne Lirely (Vanessa), Tabitha Mack (David), Archer, Eleanor, Tassie Doellman (Nick), Grayson, Brocton and Trisha Lynn Carlisle (Bob); her grandchildren, Nicholaus Lirely, Kaden, Georgia, London Gladson (Pat) and Ryker; and her siblings, Richard Layne, Debi Robinson (Ken) and Pam Baskin (Steve). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be made to Teen Challenge and/or the United Methodist Church of Murphysboro.
