He was predeceased by : his parents, Lloyd Baltzell and Dorothy Baltzell (Smith); his siblings, Clifford Baltzell, Lloyd Baltzell, Gerald Baltzell and Carroll Baltzell; and his sister-in-law Emily Baltzell.
He is survived by : his wife Rita Baltzell of Murphysboro; his son Matthew Baltzell of Dowell; his siblings, Harold Baltzell (Lora), Pat Walker, Dennis Baltzell, Harley Baltzell, Lindell Baltzell and Reva Baltzell (Jody); and his sisters-in-law, Annette Baltzell, Anne Baltzell and Mary Baltzell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
