He was predeceased by : his father Larry Wayne Stoffel; and his grandparents, John, Louise Matlock, Letha and Jessie.

He is survived by : his mother Diana Sue Protomaster (Charles) of Port Isabel, Texas; his wife Jennifer Stoffel of Mill Creek; his children, Ashley Schubel, Brittany Gassner, Allison Garcia and Isaiah Garcia; his granddaughters, Emilia and Olivia Schubel; and his brother David Stoffel (Paula).
