She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Castlebery and Doris Castlebery (Replogle); her husband John T. Worthen, Sr.; and her sister-in-law LeJeana Castlebery. She is survived by: her sons, Creed Worthen (Valarie) of Murphysboro and Nathan Wachsnicht of Murphysboro; her grandchildren, Adaline, Hannah Worthen, Ivan, Rowen and Aiden Wachsnicht; her brother Rick Castlebery of Murphysboro; and her siblings-in-law, Lynette and Paul Penrod. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wilson's Funeral Home (206 S 5th St, Ava, IL 62907). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
