With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lora Ray Williams of Murphysboro, Illinois, who passed away on May 14, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ray Williams and Anna Williams (Crowell-McRaven); and her husband John Herring, Jr.. She is survived by : her nieces, Faye Lee, Kimberley McRoberts, Ruth Vestal and Alberta Reiman; and her grandchildren, Dava, Brandon, MacKenzie, Scott, Nick and Javen.

Memorial contributions are encouraged and can be directed to the Alzheimer's Association and will be accepted at the services.
