Maria Bencini Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Bencini of Murphysboro, Illinois, who passed away on June 7, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Maria may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Keith and Pauline Rose Bencini (Sabella); and her brothers, Joseph Bencini and David Bencini. She is survived by: her brother William Bencini. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Andrew Catholic Church (724 Mulberry St, Murphysboro, IL 62966). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Pleasant Grove Memorial Park (31 Memorial Dr, Murphysboro, IL 62966).
