She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Davis and Martha Davis (Campbell); her husband Earl "Bud" James; her son-in-law Mike Bersett; her siblings, Margaret Kirk and Fred Davis; and her sisters-in-law, Susann Davis and Charlene Davis.
She is survived by: her children, John James, Tricia Bersett (Bryan Kuchar) and Angie James (Keith Parks); her grandsons, Dustin Hicks (Lindsay) and Brandon Bersett (Preeya); her great grandchildren, Kinsley and Colton Hicks; her brother Robert Davis; and her siblings-in-law, Bill Kirk, David and Kathy James.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Meredith Funeral Home (300 S University Ave, Carbondale, IL 62901). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Memorial Park (31 Memorial Dr, Murphysboro, IL 62966).
