With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ellen Pierson of Murphysboro, Illinois, who passed away on November 9, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Stewart and Pauline Stewart (Brumley); her husband Randle Pierson; her siblings, Wanda Mae, Pauline, Shirley Frost, Paula Huppert, William Stewart, Jr. (Phyllis) and Frank Stewart; and her siblings-in-law, Don Pierson (Jeanette), Tross Pierson (Evelyn), Norman Pierson (Elsie) and Kenneth Weldon Reiman.

She is survived by : her children, Todd Pierson of Missouri and Teresa Wright of Murphysboro, IL; her grandsons, Warren Pierson (Karlianne), Lucas Johnston (Elizabeth), Tyler Wright (Melissa) and Trenton Wright; her brother Jim Stewart of Murphysboro, IL; and her siblings-in-law, Geraldine Reiman of Murphysboro, Dorothy Bryant (Glenn) of Murphysboro, IL, Darryl Huppert of Murphysboro, IL and George Frost of Murphysboro, IL. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
