With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matthew Oliver Ellis of Murphysboro, Illinois, who passed away on August 4, 2025 at the age of 16. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Cheri Ellis and Anthony Rinella, Jr.. He is survived by: his parents, Dustin Fisher and Aminda Rinella-Isreal; his siblings, Aubriel Rinella-Isreal, Riley Ellis, Chase Ellis and Aeva Fisher; his grandmother Barb Rinella; and his aunt Ashley Fisher.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Crain Funeral Home - Downtown Murphysboro (1421 Walnut St, Murphysboro, IL 62966). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be made to the family to help cover expenses.
