He is survived by: his wife Laura Cates; his sons, Austin Duncan (Ambrielle), Tyler Cates (Melinda) and Clayton Cates (Stephie); his grandchildren, Satyanna Cates, Conar Cates, Ruby Cates, Zach Holmes (Kaylee), Madison Holmes and Lauryn Holmes; his great grandchild Rylan Holmes; and his brothers, Larry Duncan (Vicky) and Russell Duncan (Katy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be made to United in Faith Christian Church or to the Honor Guard.
