She was predeceased by : her parents, Norman Lindsey and Mary Lindsey (Franklin); and her son Richard Lee Stearns. She is survived by : her husband Ronald Johnston; her siblings, Norman Lindsey and Joyce Rains; her children, Russel Stearns, Jr., Michael Stearns (Karen), Sheila Ahten, Cindy Pierce Pierce (John Hunziker) and Twyla Panus; and her pet Snuggles. She is also survived by many grandchildren; great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of love may be directed to the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association and will be accepted at the service.
