She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Levan and Lillian Levan; and her husband Larry Simpkins. She is survived by: her son Danny Simpkins (Angie); her grandchildren, Tyler Simpkins (Sophie Krivograd), Corey Anderer (Becka), Ashley Smith (Jonathan), Lindsey Bryant and Sarah Lee (Travis); her stepdaughters, Deanna King (Bobby) and Vickie Bryant (Murray); and her sister Joyce Ann Elbrecht (Virgil). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

The family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
