He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Hand and Alma Hand (Hudson); and his siblings, Harvey, Burl, Gilbert, Ardell, Golda Mae and Eliza Alma.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marcia Hand of Murphysboro and Monica Tyner (Monty) of Carterville; and his granddaughter Ellen Peradotto (Brad) of Pinckenyville.
