He was predeceased by: his father Ed Lirely; his sisters, Amy and Allison; his grandparents, Bill, Jeanette Held, Ivan and Daisy Lirely; his uncles, Bill Held and Ivan; and his aunt Kay Lirely.
He is survived by: his mother Judith Held Lirely; his sister Jill Sweatman (Jim); his nephew Zach Sweatman (Karen); his great-niece Maddie; his niece Rebecca Fillyaw (Michael); and his great-niece Lily. He is also survived by many cousins and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crain Pleasant Grove-Murdale Funeral Home - Old (31 Memorial Dr, Murphysboro, IL 62966). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 2:45 PM to 3:15 PM at the Pleasant Grove Memorial Park (31 Memorial Dr, Murphysboro, IL 62966).
