He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. "Grandpa John" Borgsmiller and Morene Borgsmiller (Davis); his wife Mary Carolyn Roseberry; and his brothers, John, Frank and Fritz.
He is survived by: his sons, Chris Borgsmiller (Angie) and Rob Borgsmiller; his grandsons, Zack Borgsmiller, Nolan Borgsmiller and Travis Borgsmiller; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Beau. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crain Funeral Home - Downtown Murphysboro (1421 Walnut St, Murphysboro, IL 62966). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew Catholic Church (724 Mulberry St, Murphysboro, IL 62966). A burial was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery (724 Mulberry St, Murphysboro, IL 62966).
