With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger Lee Ellis of Murphysboro, Illinois, who passed away on December 3, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, James Ellis, and Eula Ellis, Sr. (Hagler); his brother James Aldeane Ellis, Jr.; and his nephew Roy Compton. He is survived by : his sister Sharon Compton; his nephews, Roger "Connie" Compton of DeSoto, David Compton of Elkville, Allen "Sandra" Compton of Ava, Timmy Tolbert of Murphysboro and Billy Ellis of DuQuoin; and his niece Linda Ellis of DuQuoin. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of love may be directed to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
