He was predeceased by: his wife Rita Pellegrini; and his siblings, Vicki Beavers and Delbert Lee. He is survived by: his parents, Thomas Alvin and Sarah Juanita Cook (Jones); his sons, Garrett Cook (Sheri) and Loren Cook (Kim); his grandchildren, Brendon Cook (Meaghan), Ethan Cook (Madeline), Sydney Cook, Shelby Cook and Sarah Cook; and his nephews, Kevin Beavers (Denise), Ryan Beavers and Michael Mifflin.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew Catholic Church (724 Mulberry St, Murphysboro, IL 62966). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the Tower Grove Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be made to the Murphysboro Knights of Columbus.
