He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Truman and Osie Barbara Phillips (Suttles). He is survived by: his wife Wanda Faye (Guthrie); his children, Terry Phillips (Dawn) of Nortonville and Catrenia; his grandchildren, Jake Phillips (Danielle), Chelsea Phillips, Nikki Evans (Cody), Zachary Phillips (Carol), Mallory Shaw (Aaron), Phillip, Alex Roach (Lauren), John Patrick and JP Roach; his great grandchildren, Pistol, Colt Phillips, Paislee Phillips, Emma, Huck, Clay Evans, Carson, Mackenzie, Sophia Shaw, Aiden Lockhart, Oliver McLaughlin, Jace Hipkins-Phillips and Thatcher Barrett; and his brothers, Merl Truman Phillips, Carlos Floyd Phillips and Larry Lee Phillips.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that contributions be made to one of the following: Greene County Historical and Genealogical Society, Murrayville Volunteer Fire Department and or the Murrayville United Methodist Church.The family would like to express their gratitude to the hospice care team for their compassion and support during Carl's final days.
