She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Smith and Emma Caroline Smith; her sisters, Verla Lutz and Polly Weber; her husband Gary E. Silke; her children, Kimberly Scharafin (Doug) of Naperville, IL, Timothy Silke (Cindy) of Naperville, Stephanie Flatt (Jay) of Sarasota, FL and Heather Hampton (Justen) of Aurora, IL.; her grandchildren, Ashley Palmer (Scott), Eric Scharafin, Stephen Scharafin (Rachel), Jessica Williams (Darren), Sara Friedrich (Jeremy), Megan Silke, Tyler Flatt (Caroline), Morgan Flatt, Austin Flatt, Dylan and Taylor Hampton; and her great-grandparents, Charlie (Teddy), Anna Scharafin and Amalia (Wesley Friedrich).
