He was predeceased by: his parents, Inez Najera and Maria Najera; and his sisters, Frances Valdez (Daniel), Irene Hilliard (Robert) and Natalie Torres.
He is survived by: his wife Evangeline; his grandchild Lauren Fulena (Tony); and his great grandchildren, Olivia and Gwen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
