He is survived by: his wife Goretti Ger Banting; his sons, David Allen Banting of Beecher, IL, Carlos C. Banting (Neil Jr.) of Woodridge, IL, Donald Gregory Banting of Henderson, NV, Timothy Scott Banting of Houston, TX and Thomas Randall Banting of Plainfield, IL; and his sisters, Natalie J. Bennett of Belville, NC, Donna Marie Banting of Jupiter, FL, Carol Kellogg Betscha (Lucie) of Port St and Deborah Lee Banting. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
