She was predeceased by: her parents, James McElligott and Margaret McElligott (McCaffrey); her husband Paul Verest; and her siblings, Mary Johnson (Chuck), Irene Marro (Anthony), Kathleen, Thomas and John.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dawn Norris (David Norris) and Kimberly Verest (Kevin O'Neill); her grandchildren, Paul, Summer, Lacey Norris and Kinzie O'Neill; her siblings, James McElligott (Dorothy) and Margaret; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley, Toni Pietrowski (Ralph) and Penny Verest. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and her best friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a memorial donation be made to UCPSeguin of Greater Chicago and that you take a moment to stop and play a silly game or read a good book with a child to enrich the future for us all.
