It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Josephine Benway of Naperville, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on May 9, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward T. Benway; her parents, Charles Altier and Angela Altier; and her sister Adele Rieker (late Jack). She is survived by: her children, Mary Catherine Gregg (Gary) of Hawthorn Woods, IL, Angela Gaviraghi (Guiliano) of Italy and Edward Benway of Naperville; her grandchildren, Grace, Jack, Kevin, Beatrice, Caterina and Julia; her sister Marie Schaedel (late George Karbowski) of Glenview, IL; and her sister-in-law Mary Ann Bradley (late Ed) of Oak Park, IL.
