He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles, Sr. and Evelyn; and his wife Imogene Roberts. He is survived by: his children, Eric Roberts of Las Vegas, NV and Natalie Rupert (Dennis) of Aurora, IL.; his grandsons, Tristan and Luke Rupert; and his brother Howard.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer's Association or Space Camp at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center. Per Charles' wishes, he donated his body to the Anatomical Gift Association of Greater Chicago, IL.
