He was predeceased by: his father Gerald "Jer" Hartlaub; and his parents-in-law, Joan and Arthur "Jim" Morgan. He is survived by: his wife Joanie Hartlaub; his children, Timothy Soto, Jacquelyn Hartlaub (Joe Squeo) and Alex Hartlaub; his mother Alice Hartlaub of Naperville; and his pets, Rosie, Macey, Waylon, Kaner and Luna.
