He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Irving Erickson and Mildred Erickson (Decker); his wife Rita O'Brien; his children, Michelle Melcher (Dan) of Naperville, IL, Lisa Olenski (Ron) of Edmond, OK, Brian Erickson (Lisa) of San Diego, CA and Kevin Erickson (Candice) of Broomfield, CO.; his grandchildren, Caitlin Garza (Chris), Megan Kengott (Mark), Sean Melcher (Karime), Nikki Bohr (Jake), Morgan Olenski, Eric Olenski, Ian Olenski, Gerrit Erickson, Evan Erickson, Peyton Erickson, Kiersten Erickson, Ryan Erickson and Regan Erickson; his great grandchildren, Paige Kengott, Cameron Kengott, Valerie Kengott and Clare Garza; and his nieces and nephews, Demian Willis (Sonia) and April Risko.
