He was predeceased by: his son David Reichle (Amy); his parents, Harry Coates and Irene Coates; and his siblings, Ronald Coates, Richard Coates and Beverly Locke.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie L. Coates; his children, Lori Ottesen (David), Suzanne Lucot, Michael Reichle (Yuka), Kathleen Stafford (Timothy) and James Reichle; his grandchildren, Erin Pausche (Conor), Lauren Lundberg (Tommy), Katie Ottesen, Nicholas, Tara Lucot, Ren Reichle, Sophia Stafford, Nathan, Grant and Nolan Reichle; his great grandchild Felicity Pausche; and his family Palm Desert.
