He was predeceased by: his father Vern Emery; his brother Craig Emery; and his uncles, Hjalmer Hanson and Edward Emery. He is survived by: his wife Rae; his mother Kathy Buelow; his children, Nathan Emery (Tiffany), Peter Emery (Tanya Roblot) and Alyson Emery (Sebastian Soto); his grandchildren, Amelia, Fiona, William Emery and June Emery-Soto; his siblings, Deb Emery and Christopher Emery (Diana); his aunts, Jane Hanson, Betty and Marilyn; and his uncle Bob Klungness.
