It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward R. Gross of Naperville, Illinois, born in Berwyn, Illinois, who passed away on January 21, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Gross and Mae Gross; his parents-in-law, Walter and Angeline Kosiba; and his sister Shirley Katz.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Gross; his children, Debbie Jankowski (David) of Plainfield, Kimberly Kremer (John) of Bolingbrook, Edward Gross (Ashley Mazzola) of Chicago and Robert Gross (Rebecca Sutter) of Chicago; his grandchildren, Andrew Beard (Brandon), David Fultz (Alyssa), Kevin Pattermann (Kelly), Kyle Fultz (Jessica), Amelia and Eli Gross; his great grandchildren, Ben, June Fultz, Leah Pattermann and Theo Fultz; his sister Lois Vasto (late Robert); his brothers-in-law, Stan Katz, Jim Kosiba (Irena Paronis) and Bob Kosiba (Stacey Eaton); and his sibling's children, Sharon Katz, Lori Credico (Dennis) and Brad Vasto (Cathy). He is also survived by family members and good friends.
For those who would like to leave a lasting tribute to Ed's life and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Edward-Elmhurst Healthy Driven Hero Program as a thank you from Ed's family in appreciation of the compassionate care he received during his hospital stays, specifically the 5th floor nursing/tech staff and the ICU staff.
