She was predeceased by: her husband Donald "Don" Syoen; her parents, Walter Czapka and Mary Czapka; and her siblings, Helen Czapka, Mitchell, John, Frank Czapka and Genevieve Lenart (late Henry).

She is survived by: her goddaughter Mary Lenart of Westchester, IL; and her stepchildren, Norman Syoen and Connie Ibarra.
