She is survived by : her husband John C. "Duke" Slack; her children, Kerry Marrer (Jim) of Oracle, AZ and Laurie Deegan (Jim) of Downers Grove, IL; her grandchildren, Meghan Andrew (Adam), Sean Marrer (Megan Nelson), Colin Marrer, Emmet and Bridget Deegan; her great grandchildren, Lexi, Benjamin, Dominic and Maddox; her siblings, Daniel J. Brown and Jane Bauer; and her siblings-in-law, Norma and Al Exner.

“Kerry and Laurie, So sorry for the loss of your Mom. It’s a hard one. I had no idea she had so many siblings! I remember your Mom as always full of life and energy and also remember MANY fun times at the glider club, glider contests, and the parties at your house. May she rest in peace. Hugs to you both.
