Erwin Harold Ziemer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Erwin Harold Ziemer of Naperville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 23, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Erwin Harold Ziemer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeanette Ziemer (Welk) and Erwin Ziemer; and his brother Ronald Ziemer. He is survived by: his wife Winifred Ziemer (Woodward); his children, Jean Jepson (Gregory Jepson) and David Ziemer (Caitlin); his grandchildren, Alyssa (Grayson Jenkins), Tommy Jepson, Harlo Ziemer and Annsley Ziemer; his great grandchild Walker Jenkins; and his sister Marilyn Plinske (Ziemer). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (545 Ardmore Ave, Villa Park, IL 60181). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or the Parkinson's Foundation.
