It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Marie Lyons (Naperville, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on June 6, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John J. Lyons; her parents, John Harte and Florence Harte; her sister Patricia Kamrow (late Dan); and her granddaughter Elizabeth Collins.
She is survived by: her children, Anthony Lyons (Peggy), Patrick Lyons (Lyn), Mary Ellen Lyons, John Lyons (Peggy Ann) and Maureen Lang (John); her grandchildren, Christine, Kathleen, Sean, Shannon, John, Michelle, Jonathan, Allison and Abaigeal (Joseph); and her great grandchild Aurelia.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Monastery Chapel (1910 Maple Ave, Lisle, IL 60532).
