He was predeceased by: his parent R. E. Gayatrinadhan (Jamuna); and his grandfather Thatha' (Kussi Tatha'). He is survived by: his wife Jamuna; his son Nadhan (Kannan); his daughter-in-law Deepa; his daughter Rukmini (Radhika); his son-in-law Ramnarayanan (Ramesh); his grandchildren, Rajalakshmi (Kavita) and Shivram (Chinna); his grandchildren-in-law, Taruni, Kalyan, Vigneswaran and Ridhisha; his sisters, Geetha and Jayam; his children, Radhika, Easwaran, Jamuna and Deepa; and his grandchildren, Kavita, Chinna, Easwaran, Taruni, Vignesh, Kalyan and Ridhisha.
