She was predeceased by: her husband Walter J. "Wally" Szafranski; her great grandchild Michael Robert Szafranski; her parents, Peter Kaczor and Bernice Kaczor; and her sister Harriet.
She is survived by: her son Robert Szafranski (Sue) of Sandwich, IL; her grandchildren, Michael Szafranski of Naperville, Margaret Wolski (Cordel) of Naperville and Meredith Szafranski (Aaron Clark) of Sandwich; her great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Charlotte, Andrew, Naomi, Addisu, Keelan, Mikko Wolski and Xander Clark; and her sisters, Sophie and Alice.
Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Naperville, served as a Cub Scout and Boy Scout Den Mom and Patrol Leader and did charity work including organizing bell ringing for the Salvation Army at Christmas.
