He was predeceased by: his wife Valerie Flora "Val" Thiele; and his parents, Helmut Thiele and Elsa Thiele. He is survived by: his sons, Kris Thiele (Pamela) of Plainfield and Scott Thiele (Victoria) of Naperville; his grandchildren, Stephanie (Vincent), Carl (Sabrina), Ryan and Katelyn; and his great grandchildren, Adeline and Owen.
