The memory of Jaime Abril of Naperville, Illinois, who passed away on June 4, 2025 at the age of 76, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Solenciario Abril and Nemesia Abril. He is survived by: his wife Aida; his children, Janet Castillo (John), Jason Abril (Xi Chen) and James Abril (Heather); his grandchildren, Ethan Castillo, Zoe Castillo, Anabelle Abril and Avaleigh Abril; and his siblings, Adelisa Patel (late Umakant), Ofelia Pugeda (Feliciadado), Amor Cruz (late Angelito), Wilma Abril, Maida Virina (Macario), Edwin Abril (Iluminada) and Dennis Abril (Edna). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home (44 S Mill St, Naperville, IL 60540). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church (2220 Lisson Rd, Naperville, IL 60565).
He was an active member and former Vice-President of the PLFI (Pamanang Lahi Foundation).
