He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sowa and Adeline Sowa; and his sister Susan Subgrunski (Edward). He is survived by: his wife Linda Sowa; his daughters, Kathryn "Katie" Sowa and Rebecca "Becky" Sowa; and his pet Griffin.
