She was predeceased by: her husband John F. Hammes; her parents, Gordon Lorentzen and Dorothy Lorentzen; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Hammes, Therese Killmar (late Jerry Killmar) and Barbara Andrade (late Biart).
She is survived by: her children, Wendy Gaston (Steven) of Oswego, IL and Marty Kugelberg of McCordsville, IN; her grandsons, Cole, Aidan Gaston, Mitchell and Grant Kugelberg; her sister Diane Chagnon (late Dick) of Atkinson, NH; and her sister-in-law Molly Hewitt (late Tom Hewitt). She is also survived by her family and friends.
