He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Ann; his children, Dan (Erin), Kelly and Katherine (Andrew Murray); his parents, Helen Short-Maxa and John Short; his stepfather Donald Maxa; his sister Debbie Short; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Marik (Mary) and Frank Marik (Gail).
