He was predeceased by : his sister Babe Sinodinos; his parents, Sam DAngelo and Catherine DAngelo; and his wife Belinda DAngelo. He is survived by : his former life partner Annette Goodyear; his children, Joseph John DAngelo Jr. (Sarah) and Venessa DAngelo Peterson (Bryce); his stepdaughter Christine Pineda; his grandchildren, Olivia, Alexa, Ethan and Silas; and his great grandchild Lalo.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home & Crematory - Downtown Naperville (516 S Washington St, Naperville, IL 60540). A prayer was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
