Joseph Michael Grach Obituary
Joseph Michael Grach, age 37 of Naperville, beloved son of Mike and Sandy Grach passed away September 26th, 2023, after incurring fatal injuries in a motorcycle accident. Joe was born May 8th, 1986, in Hinsdale. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Donald Thomas, his Uncle Daniel Wohead, and Aunt Jeni Grach Wagner. He is survived by his parents, his sister Ashley Grach, his grandparents Nancy Thomas, Leo and Mary Grach, his long-time loving girlfriend Hope Houdek, his best friend John Matthews, closest Uncle Michael Thomas, and many other cherished family members and friends.
Joe lived life to the fullest and he had a lot of fun. He was always up for an adventure and had a true zest and zeal for life. You could always find him enjoying one of his numerous hobbies. He loved riding his motorcycles, various mudding and off-roading trips, bowling, shooting darts, snowboarding, boating, and floating down the DuPage River in front of his childhood home. He loved music events and was always attending concerts and music festivals when he could.
Joe had a heart of gold and was always willing to offer a hand where needed. He was known to have a silly sense of humor, and loved to make people smile with his jokes and pranks. He could make the best of any situation. His fun-loving spirit and boisterous presence will forever be missed.
Celebration of Life will be held from 2PM to 8PM On Sunday November 12th at the American Legion, Post 80, 4000 Saratoga Ave, Downers Grove, IL 60515. Drinks and Pizza will be available. Anyone who is a friend of Joe is welcome.
